Advice:

Be patient; skateboarding is a lifelong learning process. Seek and offer advice readily. Don’t get carried away with your ego; try to balance pride with humility. Push yourself and practice hard, but always keep it fun. Be open to different styles and genres of skateboarding… they might just change your life. On that note, a background in technical sliding can make your transition into downhill much smoother.

Bio:

I grew up in the Bay Area and headed south in 2005 for college. The UCLA campus scene quickly got me hooked on longboarding, and the obsession only grew from there. After getting a degree in mechanical engineering, I decided to set aside some time to immerse myself in the skateboarding world.
